How HBCUs have empowered success among SAS employees

    HBCUs are vital to growing the next-generation workforce. At SAS, enabling and empowering HBCUs is an intentional component of our diversity, equity and inclusion strategy.

    We are committed to supporting and engaging with HBCUs from outreach and recruitment to supporting HBCU faculty, administration and research, to preparing the next generation of Black leaders through instituting education equity initiatives and influencing policy. It is in this spirit that SAS took the HBCU Partnership Challenge in 2019 by the Congressional Bipartisan HBCU Caucus, which brings together industry, government and universities to help level the playing field for HBCUs and their students, as well as ensure their future sustainability, increases career prospects for their students and advances DEI within all sectors of employment.
